Two recorded Saturday

Sun Feb 07, 2010 8:23 pm

I went to Westland and recorded a WPS-2806
then I went to canton to record the T-128/131 on Haggerty rd
north of Mich ave. Which didn't activate.
But I did get in the background city of Wayne's Modulator.
Which can be heard over (for the most part) haggerty rd and I-275 traffic.

The Whelen sounds healthy. Wonder why the T-128 didn't go off. Did you report it?

No, I don't even know if they tested.
I will e-mail the EM director so she knows.

I'm thinking that Canton changed their policy to silent testing.

That's insane.
That township has been screwed up for along time.
I will never go back again.
I do however want to get closer to the city of Wayne.
They must be the first in our area to use Westminster chime

I wonder how long the new ASC sirens have been there for? Maybe they are not hooked up yet? The last time I was in Canton to try and get a better recording of the 1003 at Warren and Ridge the T-128 up the road worked. That was about two years ago.

It's bound to happen when Canton wants to control their sirens while everyone else is controlled by Wayne County :?. Hopefully the EM director can shed some light on the situation.

I've been told by Siren1000T that Canton does not test in winter months.
STATUS: Taking a break from ARS until late July.

That could be the reason as well.

The testing sequence for Wayne's Modulators sound exactly like the ones in this video...

I imagine this was also filmed in Wayne then.

That video sounds like they are a bit too close to each other.
